As a producer Nebula launched the Indy Award Winning festival,HHII Dance Festival in 2015 showcasing over 30 works across 3 unique shows highlighting performances by 20 companies and over 100 artists from across the US. HHII Dance Festival expanded in 2016 to include international artists. An electrifying opportunity for the community to experience a broad range of professional dance works all under one roof over a 3 day exhilarating festival format.

Presented by Nebula Dance Lab, HH11 Dance Festival is an annual dance festival in its eighth year, offering an opportunity to present over 30+ works within three shows. All dance forms, styles and traditions are welcome to submit for presentation at HH11. 2022 Festival dates are April 22nd, 23rd, and 24th at Center Stage Theater in Santa Barbara, CA seating 130 audience members per show. HH11 strives to bring together artists both emerging and established in three professional-quality performances.  

We are really excited to be producing this annual festival and truly look forward to what everyone brings forth to the process. We encourage everyone to be bold, not hold back, and reach for the stars.

Opening Night
Thursday April 21, 2022 at 7pm
Highlighting youth and pre-professional. Professional/Emerging Artists by invitation only.  

Performance Dates
Friday, April 22nd, 2022 at 8pm -with Mix & Mingle Special Event 
Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at 8pm
Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at 2pm

Tech Dates/Times- TBD
Please note, all artists will be assigned tech times on the same day as the show. You must be able to commit to the tech/dress rehearsal time earlier in the day as well as the show time to submit for a particular performance date.

Additional Info

  • All dance forms, styles and traditions are welcome for submission.

  • HH11 Festival does not limit the length of any one submission; all length(s) are open for consideration, however please keep in mind considering the nature of the festival, works over 15+ minutes may prove more challenging for the festival to present.

  • An application fee of $35 is required with your submission (follow the prompts in the online submission form to pay online via PayPal). The application fee covers submissions of up to three works per artist/company.

  • There are no additional costs are required to participate, although you are responsible for your own personal expenses such as food, travel and housing.

  • Optional costs for video and/or photography will be provided if selected to present at HH11.

  • Selections will be announced directly in mid-December 2019.

  • Contracts and paperwork will be provided following selection to the festival.
